Founder bio

A protection-minded advisor working where pressure, perception and judgement meet.

Serge-Olivier Bredou Diakité is the founder of TBS Communication and an independent situational intelligence advisor.
His work draws on more than 25 years across information security, IT governance, private banking, international projects, strategic positioning and institutional communication. Rooted in Switzerland, his practice is shaped by discretion, precision, stability, governance and institutional trust.
Through TBS Communication, he supports leaders, boards, institutions and delegations when pressure, perception risk and complex human dynamics begin to affect decision quality.

From systems to judgement

From protecting systems and information to protecting governance, perception, judgement and decision integrity under pressure.

TBS Communication was created to address a specific shift in risk: in complex environments, what needs protection is not only the technical system, the process or the information flow. It is also the decision environment itself.

A decision environment includes the visible facts, but also the pressure around them: timing, internal dynamics, authority signals, perception risk, symbolic exposure and the way a situation is framed before action is taken.

TBS works at this level.

The advisory function helps leaders, boards, institutions and delegations read what is forming around a decision, identify where judgement may be exposed, and stabilise the conditions before communication, negotiation or action carries consequences.

The work is structured, discreet and context-sensitive. It does not substitute itself for the principal, the mandate holder or existing advisory functions. It supports the clarity of the environment in which responsibility is exercised.

This is the movement from systems to judgement: a protection discipline applied to perception, authority and decision integrity under pressure.

Why this function exists

In many high-stakes environments, decisions do not fail because intelligence is absent.

Decisions weaken when pressure accumulates, perception drifts, internal dynamics become harder to read, or communication pressure arrives before judgement is stable.

TBS exists to support the conditions around decision-making before distortion becomes visible, costly or difficult to reverse.

The work remains discreet, structured and non-substitutive.

Substance remains with the principals.

Authority remains with the decision-maker.

Responsibility remains where it belongs.

Link to Function

Situational Intelligence Advisor

TBS formalises a specific advisory function: reading and stabilising decision environments when pressure, perception risk and complex human dynamics affect judgement.

The function becomes relevant where facts matter, but where the way facts are perceived, framed and carried through an environment also shapes the decision.

When you are studying any matter, or considering any philosophy, ask yourself only: What are the facts, and what is the truth that the facts bear out. Never let yourself be diverted, either by what you wish to believe, or what you think could have beneficent social effects if it were believed; but look only and solely at what are the facts.
